Based on our research, the signal on Dr Mittal is mixed. We have read multiple detailed positive case reports with natural hairlines, good density, and attentive aftercare, but we also saw a serious report of near-complete failure and poor post op support.2657 The positives include thorough doctor-led consultations, conservative planning, clear expectation setting, and a surgery model where he handles anaesthesia, extractions, and incisions while technicians implant.768 Several patients and observers frame him as a rising UK surgeon whose work reads as natural and versatile, with both conservative and more aggressive hairlines documented.1968 The risk side is not trivial. We have seen a case with almost no growth, very sparse coverage, and a markedly asymmetric hairline, along with frustration that follow-up was delayed and not meaningfully handled.2 We have also come across criticism that some of his hairlines look wonky or asymmetric, and that the failure case reinforces that concern.2 Community debate around him can be heated, including accusations that some accounts are defending him too aggressively, which makes the positive noise harder to weigh.2 Our read is that Mittal is not a low-risk, long-proven choice. The results range from excellent to very poor, and the downside risk of a bad aesthetic outcome with limited remediation support is real.
